Once you have completed your education, you will have to pass a national exam and a state exam. Most pharmacists work in retail stores that have a pharmacy. Salaries for a pharmacist career can range from $90,000 up to $130,000. You will likely have to work some evenings and weekends in your early years as a pharmacist. However, the demand for the work is growing and in a rough economy being in demand is the best place to be.
