Mail order pharmacies are an alternative to retail pharmacy settings, filling prescriptions and mailing them to patients. Pharmacists who work in a mail order pharmacy have a more consistent schedule and must possess excellent attention to detail.

Duties may include:

  • Process and fill mail order prescriptions
  • Excel at data entry
  • Be experienced in VA, retail or clinical pharmacy settings
  • Have a sound knowledge of drug interaction, allergic disorders and reactions, therapeutic procedures, interventions and compound medications
